In the early December 2017, the Japanese Government has signed a contract sponsoring the construction of the model kitchen of this kind in Hoang Van Thu elementary school, Lang Son Province. This is a part of the Project chain named School Meals, initiated by Ajinomoto Vietnam, the Ministry of Education and Training and the National Institute of Nutrition. ‘School Meals’ is a project of national scale, which aims to contribute to the Nation’s nutrition strategies and the proposal to improve Vietnamese people’s overall physics and size in the period from 2011 to 2030. The goal is to provide day-boarding elementary children a range of delicious meals with balanced nutrition.
As a strategic partner of Ajinomo Vietnam who has taken part in many significant projects since 2009, BETHODA has been assigned as the contractor for this project. Even though the total kitchen area is not significant, however standards of completion, construction progress and meticulousness are to comply with Japanese criteria, a name that would instantly trigger imagination of strict and thorough working procedure.
The project has been completed within 7 weeks, and on 23 May 2018, the Grand Opening of the ‘Japanese model day-boarding elementary kitchen’, the first one of its type in the North has taken place at Hoang Van Thu Elementary School, Lang Son city. he event was participated by Doctor Nguyen Thi Nghia – Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Mr. Keiji Kaneko – General Director of Ajinomoto Vietnam, representatives of Lang Son People’s Committee, the School Board and other important guests.
This one-way kitchen design is equipped with modern machines and equipments imported from Japan and therefore, assures factors of durability, safety and absolute quality for food processing.
